FAQ

When is the best time to book a newborn session?

Newborn sessions are best booked during your second trimester to ensure availability. Once your baby arrives, you’ll simply let me know and we’ll schedule your session for when your little one is 5–14 days old—the perfect window for those sleepy, curled-up poses. Don’t worry if your baby arrives early or late; I build flexibility into my schedule because babies always run the show. 🤍

What if my baby is fussy during the newborn session?

That’s completely normal—and expected. Newborn sessions are baby-led, unhurried, and designed with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles. Years of experience allow me to work calmly and safely so your baby stays comfortable throughout.

When will we get our photos?

Newborn galleries are first sent as Soft Proofs and come via email after 2 days time. You will then choose your favorite images and I will refine and retouch your favorites to perfection. Those final edits arrive 10 days after you have finished your selections.

How many pictures will we receive? Can we buy extra images?

A set number of high-resolution digital images are included with each session. You’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery where you can view, download, and choose your favorites. Extra Newborn images are $20 per image.

Where are you located?

My studio is located in Bettendorf, Iowa, and I serve families throughout the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. I have my own entrance and parking around the back side of the building.
